LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (June 11, 2015)… To celebrate Major League Baseball’s 86th All-Star Game held at Great American Ballpark—home of the Cincinnati Reds—the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, Muhammad Ali Center, and Louisville Bats Baseball Team will participate in the Baseball Across the Region (BATR) initiative on Saturday, June 13.
BATR is a twist on the passing of the Olympic torch—instead, the initiative uses an official All-Star Game baseball that visits a variety of regional stops to engage various neighborhoods, schools, non-profits, regional businesses, community attractions, and events.
