Yoga Mala will take place on January 7, 2016
Louisville, KY (Thursday, January 05, 2017) – The crew at 502 Power Yoga are proud to team up with Muhammad Ali Center and an impressive team of teachers from across Louisville and the U.S. to present this year’s Yoga Mala for Africa. Consisting of 108 sun salutations, this fundraising event will take place at Muhammad Ali Center on Saturday, January 7 beginning at 10:00 A.M. and ending at 1:00 P.M. approximately.
“There’s no better way to set your intention for the New Year,” said Jamie Calzi, Community Relations Director at 502 Power Yoga. “Not only will participants have the chance to challenge themselves both physically and mentally, but the money raised from the event will benefit two very powerful organizations.”
Proceeds from Yoga Mala will be split between Louisville’s own Muhammad Ali Center and global organization, Africa Yoga Project (AYP). Please read below for more information on these organizations and their missions.
Participants should bring their own yoga mats, but water and light refreshments will be available. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased online at 502 Power Yoga’s website. Day-of tickets will be $45 and available up until the beginning of the event.
Corporate sponsorships are also available. Please contact Jamie Calzi at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in supporting this powerful event.
