Greatest Giveback

Ali Center, View Pointe Hall (9am – 5pm)

“Service to others is the rent you pay for your time here on earth” was one of Muhammad Ali’s famous quotes.

In January of 2020, the Muhammad Ali Center and Metro United Way partnered to create a community service event, The Greatest Give Back, to honor Muhammad Ali’s 80th birthday and to continue the Center’s annual tradition of providing acts of service on this day.

We are excited to announce that on Thursday, June 9, 2022, the third annual Greatest Give Back (rescheduled from January) will take place at the Muhammad Ali Center as part of the annual Ali Festival, which celebrates Muhammad’s legacy and love for Louisville.  We will come together in service to “TKO the need” in our community with our Time, Kindness and Offering.

Volunteers at The Greatest Give Back will work in three shifts to create and assemble 800 diaper bundles, 800 laundry kits and 800 snack kits that will be distributed to 80 local nonprofit agencies – giving the greatest gift of all – service to others.
