The Muhammad Ali Center was privileged to collaborate on a program with the University of Louisville that promoted mutual understanding among cultures. Fifteen Muslim religious scholars, teachers, and preachers from South Asia visited Louisville and other cities as part of a $343,785 U.S. Department of State grant awarded by the College of Arts and Sciences, University of Louisville, in December 2002. In addition, scholars from around the U.S. participated in a round table discussion.
