Lemonade Day Louisville hosts Best Tasting Lemonade Contest April 14 at Muhammad Ali Center

AREA YOUTH COMPETE FOR BRAGGING RIGHTS AND PRIZES

Louisville, KY – Lemonade Day Louisville is hosting the second annual Best Tasting Lemonade Contest at the Muhammad Ali Center on April 14, 2018 from 1pm – 3:30 pm.  Ten young Lemonade Day Louisville entrepreneurs who submitted recipes and were selected to participate, will compete for first second, and third place cash prizes.  The Best Tasting Lemonade contest is held prior to Lemonade Day. It is one of three contests designed to reward the hard work of local young entrepreneurs.

Judges are measuring originality and quality of the lemonade itself, as well as creative theme and presentation.  This year’s VIP judges include former UofL basketball player Luke Hancock, Judge Derwin Webb, and Donald Lassere, President and CEO of the Muhammad Ali Center.

“The Ali Center is proud to partner with Lemonade Day Louisville and support young local entrepreneurs,” said Lassere. “The Center’s youth social entrepreneurship program, UCREW, helps high school students build a strong foundation for launching social enterprise businesses. Working with Lemonade Day Louisville is a natural fit.”
