Muhammad Ali Center Announces Free Field Trips for Title 1 Schools in Kentucky and Southern Indiana

UPS Grant Helps Provide ‘Paths to Greatness’ RACE Field Trips Available on First Come, First Served Basis

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (September 2, 2016) — The Muhammad Ali Center announces the Paths to Greatness program, which allows for sponsored, all expenses paid field trips to the Ali Center for Title 1 schools in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Field trips are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Funding for the fall 2016 Paths to Greatness program for 10,000 Title 1 school students was provided by the UPS Foundation.

The online form requesting a Paths of Greatness field trip to visit the upcoming RACE: Are We So Different? exhibition at the Ali Center is now available here. RACE is open at the Ali Center from September 24, 2016 – January 2, 2017. The award-winning interactive exhibit explores race on a biological, cultural and historical level. It is the first exhibit to open in the Center’s new temporary exhibit space.

There is limited transportation reimbursement available for Title 1 schools in Jefferson County, Ky. To learn more about Paths of Greatness or to book a school field trip, click here.
