The Muhammad Ali Center is participating in and offering the following opportunities to the public as a way of honoring the two men’s societal impact:

JANUARY 17th-20th

  • Mentor-Mentee Discounts (January 17th-20th): On Friday, January 17th, what would have been Muhammad Ali’s 78th birthday, the Ali Center will begin a weekend-long opportunity for mentors to bring their mentee to the Center at a deep discount; mentors will pay a $5 admission rate and their mentee can experience the 2-1/2 levels of award-winning exhibits for free. This promotion will run through Monday, January 20th, MLK Day.
  • International Mentoring Day Participation on Social Media (January 17th):  The goal of the day is to raise awareness of the power of mentoring around the world and the ways in which mentoring contributes to peace, development and human rights. Muhammad Ali served as a mentor to many throughout his life and that influence continues through the Muhammad Ali Center. The Center is collaborating with The National Mentoring Partnership for this online event. Dialogue will be captured through #MentoringDay #AliDay #Mentoring4SDGS #MentorIRL and #MentoringMonth.
