Opening Acts Announced for CONGO14 Louisville – Ali Center Benefit Concert Featuring Bruno Mars, Sponsored by Horseshoe Southern Indiana

The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards, Southern Sirens Join Lineup Concert is September 20 at the Kentucky International Convention Center

In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the legendary “Rumble In The Jungle” boxing match between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman, the Muhammad Ali Center is proud to announce the opening acts for CONGO14 Louisville – Ali Center Benefit Concert Featuring Bruno Mars sponsored by Horseshoe Southern Indiana.

The event is set for 5:00pm on Saturday, September 20 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in downtown Louisville.

As announced, Bruno Mars, who is an 18-time Grammy nominee and two-time Grammy winner, will be performing a full set of hits from his Moonshine Jungle tour – including “Grenade,” “If I Were Your Man,” “Just the Way You Are,” “Locked Out of Heaven,” “Treasure,” and many others.

The Temptations Review, featuring Dennis Edwards (original member of the Temptations), Paul Williams Jr. (son of original Temptations member Paul Williams), David Sea, Mike Patillo, and Chris Arnold, will perform as a much-anticipated opening act. The Temptations Review will entertain attendees with the familiar sounds of Motown, including numerous hits recorded by the Temptations during the group’s hay day.

Southern Sirens, an all-girl Folk/Americana trio based in Louisville, completes the star-studded lineup. Southern Sirens, composed of Anna Blanton, Emmy Bodner, and Kelsey Lee, was conceived by the philosophy that by harnessing their ‘girl power’ they could create and transform music that women could relate to.

The concert venue (Kentucky International Convention Center) provides an intimate setting. Each seat is no more than 170 feet away from the stage, so every seat is good one!  This performance is one of the last three sites of Bruno Mars’s Moonshine Jungle Tour!
