The Ali Center joined with the humanitarian organization CARE for a free screening of the award-winning film “A Powerful Noise.” This critically acclaimed documentary followed three women from different countries who had overcome seemingly insurmountable odds to bring lasting solution to their communities. The screening was followed by a panel discussion with notable women from the community and beyond talking about women’s issues from their own unique perspectives, experience, and knowledge.
