The Greatest Remembered
Engage in a journey on how the Muhammad Ali Center carries forth the legacy of Ali.
Forwarding Ali's Legacy
In 2016, the Ali Center introduced an area of interactive exhibits on our 4th floor, spotlighting Ali’s humanitarian efforts to inspire others toward similar acts of compassion. Some exhibits invited guests to share their perspectives by recording videos, addressing questions such as “What are you fighting for?” and “What is your Red Bike Moment?”—all aimed at perpetuating Ali’s legacy.
Presently, the Ali Center is embarking on a new phase of evolution. Still centered around his six guiding principles – Spirituality, Confidence, Conviction, Dedication, Respect, and Giving – we are repurposing our story booth space to craft a more contemplative experience. Guests will delve into the narrative surrounding Ali’s passing and the subsequent week of mourning, remembrance, and celebration in his hometown of Louisville. Through this immersive journey, guests will learn how the Muhammad Ali Center continues to honor and carry forth the legacy of the People’s Champ.
Opening on Community Free Day
