Compassionate Workshops for Young Adults

Students will identify a system of oppression to focus on, and our team will create a unique four-hour workshop.

Our Compassionate Leadership Workshops draw inspiration from the life, legacy, and six core principles of Muhammad Ali: Confidence, Conviction, Dedication, Giving, Respect, and Spirituality. These workshops empower young leaders to develop the skills necessary to become compassionate changemakers in their schools, communities, nation, and the world.

Program components include:
  • Guided Tour of the Muhammad Ali Center: Participants will explore Muhammad Ali’s legacy of compassion, resilience, and advocacy, connecting his six core principles to the chosen area of focus.
  • Reflection on Identity and Power: Participants will examine their own identities and how power intersects with empathy, fostering an understanding of inclusive and compassionate relationships.
  • Action Planning for Change: The group will co-create actionable strategies to address their chosen challenge, guided by principles of community-building and compassionate leadership.
  • Roles of Social Change: Through discussions reimagined with a lens of compassion, participants will explore the four roles of social change—building connections, fostering trust, and leading with empathy as central tenets.
  • Grounded in Research: Insights from the 2025 Compassion Report will frame discussions and activities, grounding the program in evidence-based approaches to understanding and fostering compassion in individuals, organizations, and communities.
Cost:

$500 for up to 40 participants (plus 5 free chaperones)
