The Muhammad Ali Center is hosting the inaugural G.O.A.T. Summit on May 31, 2025, kicking off our annual Ali Fest celebration.

This premiere program will bring in esteemed panelists in the athletic world to discuss the intersection of athletics, social justice and civic engagement through the enduring legacy of Muhammad Ali.

Panelists for this year’s event include:

  • Darrell Griffith – Former Professional basketball player with University of Louisville/Utah Jazz, University of Louisville Assistant Vice President of Community Engagement
  • Katie Lund – Racing Louisville FC Goalkeeper, Philanthropist
  • Don McPherson – Author, Speaker, All-American Quarterback at Syracuse University and College Football Hall of Famer

The event will be moderated by Dave Zirin, sports editor of The Nation Magazine and co-producer/writer of the documentary “Behind the Shield: The Power and Politics of the NFL.”
