Join the Muhammad Ali Center, The Association for Teaching Black History in Kentucky, and the Filson Historical Society for a powerful Juneteenth celebration honoring freedom, reflection, and collective healing.
This year’s program will feature a keynote conversation with Rev. Dr. Kevin Cosby, President of Simmons College of Kentucky and a leading voice on racial justice and education. Dr. Cosby will speak on the significance of Juneteenth—not only as a commemoration of emancipation but as a call to embrace compassion as a driving force for equity and change in our communities.
Enjoy a complimentary breakfast as we gather in community to honor the resilience of Black Americans, past and present, and explore the ongoing legacy of liberation.
Tickets are free, but registration is required.
