“Leading in Crisis: A Muhammad Ali Center Convening,” is an exclusive gathering of civic, business and community leaders exploring one of the defining leadership challenges of our time: leading with courage, compassion and conviction in the face of crisis.

Lonnie Ali and Dr. Tod Laursen, Chancellor of the American University of Sharjah, a private university in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, will join moderator Simon Cohen for a timely conversation about leadership under pressure, the power of values-driven decision-making and the enduring relevance of Muhammad Ali’s legacy in today’s world. Dr. Laursen brings firsthand insight from leading one of the Middle East’s premier international universities through a period of extraordinary regional instability.

The program will open with a keynote from Farah Pandith, offering a global policy perspective on compassionate leadership.

“Leading in Crisis: A Muhammad Ali Center Convening” is brought to you by the World Affairs Council and the American University of Sharjah.
