A visit to the Muhammad Ali Center is always inspiring, but experiencing something this reaffirming together with a group is special. We offer groups of 20 or more several options for the visit that best fits your group. (If your group is a school-led field trip, see Field Trips for information.)
Group Tour Options
Self-Guided: $17/person
A self-guided visit at the Muhammad Ali Center is an immersive and engaging experience of exploring the life, career, and legacy of one of the greatest boxers and social activists of all time. When you arrive, an Ali Center Educator will provide a brief introduction and orientation to the facility, highlighting key exhibits and areas of interest. From there, your group is free to explore the Center at their own pace, following a suggested itinerary or charting your own course through the various exhibits and displays.
Guided: $25/person
(two-hour experience)
A comprehensive and immersive experience of Muhammad Ali’s life, legacy, and impact on the world, led by our knowledgeable and engaging tour guides. You’ll explore the interactive exhibits, galleries, and multimedia displays of the Ali Museum while hearing the stories of Ali’s remarkable journey. From his early years in Louisville, through his personal and professional challenges and victories, you’ll follow his path to becoming a global icon of courage, compassion, and humanitarianism.

Accessing the Archive: $50/person
(three-hour experience; max. group size of 30)
Explore the Ali Center’s private collection! This exclusive experience provides the rare opportunity to delve deeper into Muhammad Ali’s life and legacy with access to the Center’s archives, including unique items not on public display. The session in the archives includes a private meeting with a curator who will share insights into Ali’s life, career, and cultural impact that still reverberates today. The exclusive tour offers an unmatched opportunity to connect with Ali’s story in a more intimate and personal setting. A guided Museum tour is also included in this experience.

Ali’s Louisville Trolley Tour
Take a ride through the city that Muhammad Ali called home. Guided by Muhammad Ali Museum Education and Curation staff, the trolley tour will take you on a journey to explore the life and legacy of one of the greatest athletes and humanitarians of all time.
Our trolley tour will take you to significant spots throughout Louisville that were important to Ali’s life, from his childhood home to his namesake Muhammad Ali Center. Along the way, you’ll hear stories about Ali’s upbringing, his boxing career, and his impact on the world beyond the ring.
