How can I see the spaces?
You can browse our online gallery to find the perfect space for your event. When you’re ready to see spaces in person, contact our Events team to schedule a personal tour and consultation about your event.
Can I rent the entire Muhammad Ali Center?
All of our event spaces can be combined as one rental. Private spaces (such as offices and archives) are not available to rent.
Are exhibit spaces included in my rental?
Events scheduled during the Center’s normal business hours will have free access to exhibits, as well as those renting for a combined wedding and reception. All other rentals wishing to access exhibit floors can do so for an additional cost.
How many people can attend my event?
Our event spaces can handle groups from 10 to 1200 people.
Does the Ali Center have a list of approved caterers?
The Center does have a list of approved caterers, who are the only vendors that may provide catering services for events.
Do you have tables and chairs?
Yes! Tables and chairs are free with your rental. MAC does not have linens or other decorations, which need to be rented from a third-party vendor in coordination with the Events team. All decorations must be free-standing.
Is on-site parking available?
There is an attached parking garage, owned and operated by the Parking Authority of River City. All prepaid parking arrangements must be made with the City of Louisville by using the following form.
Will security or MAC staff be present?
Security, events, and housekeeping team members will be at your event.
Is there internet or Wi-Fi provided on-site?
Yes, there is free Wi-Fi throughout our facility.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit card or cashiers checks are the payment methods we accept for venue rentals.
What if I have to cancel?
We understand things happen! While your deposit is non-refundable, the remainder of the balance will not be due if an event is canceled 30 or more days in advance. Events canceled within 30 days will be required to pay in full.
Is event insurance required?
Every event is required to have general day-of event liability coverage secured independently.
